The Dodge City/Ford County Events Center is a multi-purpose events center located adjacent to the newly constructed Boot Hill Casino at Highway US 50 and Comanche Street. The Events Center is approximately 140,500 gross square feetwhich includes nearly 10,000 gross square feet of meeting space. The building is organized into two-stories the Event Level and Suite Level. The Events Center features a U-shaped seating bowl and has a maximum seating capacity of approximately 4,220 ticketed seats for soccer/hockey and approximately 6,040 ticketed seats for center stage concert events. End stage concert events will have a maximum capacity of approximately 5,810 ticketed seats. These capacities reflect a maximum ADA attendance in the general bowl. Private suites also have accommodations for ADA seating within each suite. The seating bowl will provide optimum spectator seating, while allowing a flexible event floor to accommodate a wide variety of events.   

 

The Events Center is designed to also include fixed and moveable seating, locker rooms, offices, retail space, ticket lobby, concessions, private suites, club seating, and meeting rooms. The building construction will include architectural precast panels, a minor amount of face brick masonry on light gauge framing, and aluminum storefront glazing systems. The roof will be a light colored and energy efficient fully-adhered membrane. The seating bowl on the interior of the building will be constructed of structural precast concrete.
